Man wounded by gunfire from outside his residence overnight on Far South Side, Chicago police said

A 40-year-old man was shot through the window of his home in the Roseland neighborhood, on the Far South Side of Chicago, according to city police. The incident happened around 2 a.m. in the first block of West 116th Street, where the victim heard multiple gunshots and later realized he had been hit in the elbow. The man, who is in good condition, was taken to Roseland Community Hospital as police continue their investigation.
