Man stabs four to death in New York’s Queens, police shoot him dead
A man killed four members of his extended family, including two children, in Queens, New York City, before being shot dead by the police. The attacker also stabbed two police officers who responded to the scene. The victims, a 12-year-old boy, an 11-year-old girl, a 44-year-old woman, and a man in his 30s were found inside their home. The attacker, who had previously been arrested over a domestic violence incident, set fire to a couch in the house, delaying the police’s entry. A fifth victim, a 61-year-old woman, was critically injured and is in hospital.
