Man kills children in apparent murder-suicide
A man in Glenelg, Maryland murdered his teenage children before committing suicide, according to local police. The preliminary investigation suggests that Christopher Zanski, 42, shot his children, Braden Zanski, 17, and Hailey Zanski, 15, before killing himself. The children were students at Glenelg High School. The school’s principal, Shawn Hastings-Hauf, sent a letter to parents and guardians expressing shock and sadness at the news, and detailing the range of support available for those affected. The police noted there is no indication that anyone else was involved in the incident and the motive remains unknown.
