Man found shot to death outside school on Savoy Drive
A man in his early 20s was found shot to death outside the Academy of Accelerated Learning in southwest Houston. The school was promptly placed on lockdown, which has since been lifted. An employee spotted the victim’s body in the bushes, after which he was pronounced dead upon arrival of the Houston firefighters. The victim had been shot multiple times, and shell casings were found at the scene. Homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
