Man charged in the murder of Detroit synagogue president Samantha Woll
Michael Manual Jackson-Bolanos, 28, of Detroit has been charged with the murder of Detroit synagogue president Samantha Woll. Prosecutor Kym Worthy stated there is no evidence the murder was a hate crime or that Jackson-Bolanos knew Woll. Woll was found outside her home in the Lafayette Park neighborhood, believed to have been stabbed inside her house. It was also reported that another person was taken into custody but was released three days later. Previously, Jackson-Bolanos was sentenced in 2014 and 2019 for receiving and concealing stolen property.
