Man arrested after 2 men injured in Pittsfield shooting

Ryan Ashley, a 31-year-old man from Gilmanton, New Hampshire, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and two counts of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon after two men were injured in a shooting. The incident occurred on Saturday morning in Pittsfield, and the injured men were taken to Concord Hospital where they are in stable condition. The Gilmanton Police Association stated that the suspected shooter was found in a house in Gilmanton, where a heavy police presence was concentrated in the Meadow Pond Road area. Ashley is currently held at the Merrimack County Jail pending arraignment on Monday. The police confirmed there is no ongoing threat, and the FBI is aware of the situation and coordinating with their partners.
