Magnitude 3.8 earthquake strikes mountains south of Los Banos

A magnitude 3.8 earthquake struck the Diablo Range south of Los Banos, California, late Wednesday night as per the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake occurred approximately 16.5 miles south-southwest of Los Banos at 10:16 p.m. The immediate impact of the earthquake showed no signs of injuries or damage. The seismic activity was felt in regions such as Morgan Hill, Hollister, Manteca, and north of Coulterville, a gold rush town in Mariposa County.
