Lindsay Arcella leads Andrean to regional
Junior Lindsay Arcella is emerging as a key player for Andrean’s basketball team, following in the footsteps of the team’s all-time leading scorer, Tori Allen. Though Arcella initially faced pressure stepping into Allen’s shoes, she has proven herself as a distinct talent, averaging 10.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Her performance has helped Andrean win their fifth straight sectional title and she has been pivotal in the team’s recent six-out-of-seven game winning streak. Despite a slow start to the season, Arcella’s transition to point guard has been successful, with the team now in a position to potentially secure another regional title. Along with Liv Delevic and Maddie Walton, Arcella has taken on a leadership role within the team.
