Large fire burning at an Aurora apartment complex under construction
Firefighters are tackling a blaze at an apartment complex under construction in Aurora, Colorado, near East Colfax Avenue and Peoria Street, which is reportedly the second such incident in three days. Earlier, Aurora Fire Rescue managed a three-alarm fire in the 7300 block of South Addison Court, causing damages estimated in the millions of dollars. As black smoke rises, resources from other fire departments in the metropolitan area are being called in to contain the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
