LA homeowner shoots armed burglars, killing one: police

A Los Angeles homeowner shot and killed one of three suspects during an attempted home invasion in the early hours of Saturday. Police received a call around 5 a.m about gunfire in a home in the Granada Hills neighborhood. The homeowner reported that three men broke into his home while he, a grandmother, and a child were inside. The suspects, all dressed in dark clothing and masks, fled the scene without their vehicle, while the homeowner shot and injured one of them. Detectives from the Operations Valley Bureau Homicide conducted an investigation, but no arrests have been made so far.
