John Kerry Bows Out as U.S. Climate Envoy
John Kerry, President Biden’s special envoy for climate, intends to resign from the Biden administration by spring 2022. During his tenure, Kerry worked to encourage global governments to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, led the U.S. team at three UN climate summits, and promoted cooperation between the U.S. and China, the world’s two biggest polluters.
