Jennifer Crumbley grilled by prosecutors over extramarital affairs in 2nd day on stand in manslaughter trial

Jennifer Crumbley, the mother of Oxford High School shooter Ethan Crumbley, was cross-examined by prosecutors for a second day. The prosecutors focused on her extramarital affairs and her “vigilance as a parent” ahead of the shooting. Prosecutors revealed that Crumbley used an app, Adult Friend Finder, to arrange “meet-ups” just days before the shooting and questioned how she spent her time. Jennifer and James Crumbley have both been charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter related to the shooting carried out by their son in November 2021. Jennifer’s testimony has raised the issue of allowing text messages between her and her attorneys as evidence.
