Jeff Roe, Top Strategist for Star-Crossed DeSantis Super PAC, Resigns

Jeff Roe, the chief strategist for Gov. Ron DeSantis’s presidential bid-supporting super PAC, Never Back Down, resigned amid internal turmoil. The organization has seen multiple resignations and firings since Thanksgiving, including one CEO, one board chairman, a second CEO, and two other top officials. Roe’s resignation, which he announced via social media, followed allegations by the group’s new chairman, Scott Wagner, of mismanagement, conduct issues, and unauthorized leaks by the previous CEO and two others who worked under Roe. Roe cited these allegations as his reason for leaving.
