City leaders in Houston are warning the public about fake parking meter websites appearing in Google search results for “Park Houston app.” These fraudulent sites are attempting to obtain users’ credit card information. Officials from Park Houston have advised users to only download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. If users have already made payments on the fake websites, they are being advised to contact their credit card companies to dispute the charges.
