Houston man stabs wife more than 100 times in front of daughter
A man named Michael Simpson, 58, is accused of stabbing his wife, Robin Simpson, over 100 times and threatening their daughter with a knife. The incident took place on the south side of Houston at their Elberta Street home. Robin called 911 for help but unfortunately died from her injuries, leaving their 8-year-old daughter traumatized. Michael was taken to the hospital in critical condition, later charged with murder and aggravated assault. He is now being held at Harris County Jail on a $300,000 bond as of January 11, with a scheduled court appearance next month.
