Houston barber cuts homeless hair in downtown

Christian Khammany, a Houston-based barber, spends hours every week offering free haircuts to the homeless as a way of giving back to the community. Khammany, who learned to cut hair at the age of 14, sets up nearly every Monday and Tuesday in the heart of Houston to provide his services. Inspired by his drive through downtown Houston and seeing the homeless population, Khammany decided to use his skills to help others, cutting hair until his clippers die. He maintains his regular clientele throughout the rest of the week, but it is these two days of service that leave him feeling fulfilled.
