Harris County deputies shoot woman during burglary call
Eboni Pouncy, 28, was shot by two Harris County deputies while responding to a burglary call at her own apartment. Civil rights attorney Ben Crump is now demanding to see the bodycam footage of the incident. The shooting, which took place in east Harris County, Texas, occurred after Pouncy broke into her own apartment due to not having a key. Despite the shooting, Pouncy was not considered a suspect in the burglary case and was not trespassing. The incident is now being investigated by the HCSO’s Homicide Division, Internal Affairs, and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
