Grantas Sakenis, Andrew top Lincoln-Way East
Grantas Sakenis made a significant return to the Andrew lineup after a left leg injury, helping the Thunderbolts secure a 63-56 victory over Lincoln-Way East in a SouthWest Suburban Conference crossover game. His season-high seven assists were a welcome surprise for his teammates. In addition to Sakenis, Athan Berchos and James Gallagher contributed with 18 and 14 points respectively. Sakenis, who is being pursued by Quincy and Wisconsin-Whitewater, is back in good form according to Andrew coach, Justin Stirn. Despite a recent losing streak, Andrew still has potential to tie the championship in the SouthWest Suburban Conference Red race.
