Special counsel Robert Hur has completed his yearlong investigation into potential mishandling of classified documents linked with President Joe Biden, according to Attorney General Merrick Garland. The report, which is under review for executive privilege issues, is expected to provide a detailed look at how Biden and his staff handled government materials. Although not expected to result in any criminal charges, the report could be used by political opponents in the lead-up to 2024 elections. Biden is the second successive U.S. president to face a special counsel investigation while in office.
