Funeral for National Grid worker killed in Waltham crash
A funeral service was held for Roderick Jackson, a 36-year-old Massachusetts utility worker and National Grid gas operations technician, who was killed in a vehicle accident while on duty. Jackson, also known as Kito, was a graduate of the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and Framingham State University, and had played on the FSU basketball team. His family plans to establish a scholarship in his honor to benefit young people. The accident that claimed Jackson’s life also killed Waltham police officer Paul Tracey, a 28-year veteran of the force.
