Former college professor kills three on Las Vegas campus
Three people were killed in a shooting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) campus, with the gunman, a white former college professor in his 60s, also dead following a shootout with police. Another victim is in a stable condition at a local hospital. The campus will be closed for the following two days. The shooter reportedly previously taught in Georgia and North Carolina and had applied for a job at UNLV. His name has not yet been released. There have been more than 630 mass shootings in the US in 2021.
