Forest Park, Georgia, suspected shooter is in custody
A gunman, identified as Victor Baymon, was taken into custody following a triple shooting in suburban Atlanta that left one person dead. The incident, described as random, occurred in different locations including a convenience store and a construction site, and led to local lockdowns. The suspect was arrested after a license plate reader alerted police of a potentially carjacked vehicle traveling through nearby Powder Springs. Baymon was injured during a chase with law enforcement. The three victims were taken to the hospital, with one dying from their injuries.
