Five dead in apparent murder-suicide in Orchards
Five individuals were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Orchards, Washington. The incident came to light after a family member alerted authorities to a disturbing text message from another family member who confessed to harming others at the residence. Unable to establish contact with anyone at the residence, the Southwest Washington Regional SWAT team was called in. Using a drone, officers spotted multiple deceased individuals within the house. The SWAT team later confirmed the death of five adults, including the alleged shooter. There is no further threat to public safety.
