Fireworks-related death in San Francisco – NBC Bay Area
A person in San Francisco was fatally injured by fireworks just over an hour into the new year. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of Exposition Drive in the Treasure Island neighborhood. San Francisco Police Department responded to a report of the incident at approximately 12:40 a.m., finding the victim with life-threatening injuries. Despite attempts at first aid, paramedics pronounced the individual dead upon arrival. Police are seeking information from the public regarding the incident.
