Fetterman commissions George Santos to record Cameo message for indicted Sen. Bob Menendez
Senator John Fetterman commissioned a video from Rep. George Santos, who has been expelled from Congress, to send a message of support to Senator Bob Menendez, who is facing calls for resignation over allegations of acting as a foreign agent. Santos recorded the video via Cameo, a platform for celebrity video messages, without knowing who “Bobby” was. Mr. Menendez and his wife are accused of corrupt practices and have pleaded not guilty. Santos himself was expelled following an ethics committee report accusing him of exploiting his candidature for financial gain, and he now charges $200 per video on Cameo.
