FBI offers $1,000 reward for information on Loop bank robbery attempts

The FBI is looking for a man suspected in a series of bank robberies in the Loop area and is offering a $1000 reward for information leading to his arrest. The suspect has been attempting bank robberies every three to four weeks since September. Notably, he attempted to rob banks on Michigan Ave. on September 19, October 11, and successfully on November 7. The suspect, described as a man with a medium build and a black and gray goatee, was seen wearing a red and orange hooded jacket, a blue and yellow “Michigan” zip-up jacket, black pants, a blue beanie cap, and black and white Nike shoes. He was armed with a handgun in at least one of the robberies.
