FBI foils plot by militiamen to “start a war” at the border
FBI agents have disrupted a plot by three men who planned to travel to the Texas-Mexico border to kill Border Patrol agents and illegal immigrants. The men were identified as Bryan C. Perry, Jonathan S. O’Dell, and Paul Faye, two of which claimed to be part of a militia. They started organizing their plans in 2022 and intended to carry it out in October 2023. Perry and O’Dell are accused of attempting to kill seven federal agents. Perry and O’Dell were arrested in late 2022 and face several charges, while Faye was recently arrested and charged for possessing an unregistered firearm silencer.
