Fani Willis subpoenaed for hearing on misconduct allegations in Trump Georgia case

Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis is facing allegations of having an improper personal relationship with the lead prosecutor in the election-interference case against former President Donald Trump. Willis and the prosecutor, Nathan Wade, as well as several members of Willis’s staff and associates of Wade have been subpoenaed to testify under oath in a hearing. The attorney for Mike Roman, a co-defendant in the case, filed misconduct allegations against Willis and Wade and is seeking to disqualify them from the case. It is claimed that Wade used his income as a special prosecutor to pay for vacations for him and Willis. Willis faces a deadline to respond in writing to Roman’s motion to disqualify her and her office from the election case.
