Ethan Crumbley to be sentenced for Oxford, Michigan, school shooting

Oxford High School student Kylie Ossege shared her traumatic experience of the school shooting in a victim impact statement. Ossege was shot during the incident and spent a week in the intensive care unit, followed by five weeks of rehabilitation. She recounted the fear and confusion she felt, including the moment she realized she was shot. The bullet shattered her clavicle, broke two ribs, grazed her spine, and caused a spinal cord injury, which required surgeries and is still being treated. Her life has dramatically changed since the shooting, including no longer being able to play sports, return to work, walk long distances, or regulate her body temperature.
