Eric Trump to testify again in fraud trial against Trump Organization | Eric Trump

Eric Trump, son of former US President Donald Trump, is set to testify for the second time in the ongoing New York fraud trial against the Trump Organization. The trial, which began on October 2nd, aims to determine whether the Trump Organization illegally inflated the value of assets on state financial documents to boost Donald Trump’s net worth. The potential penalty amounts to a $250m fine. As part of the case, Donald Trump may lose his business licenses, making it nearly impossible for the Trump family to conduct business in New York. The defense team argues that Donald Trump had latitude in valuing his assets and that the accuracy of these valuations was ultimately the responsibility of his accountants and lenders.
