A new set of unsealed documents reveal that Jeffrey Epstein’s defence team attempted to undermine the credibility of witness Sarah Ransome by revealing her claims that Epstein had kept “sex tapes” involving prominent figures such as Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, and Sir Richard Branson. These allegations were later retracted by Ransome and no proof of such tapes was presented in court. Ransome, who also accused Donald Trump of sexual misconduct, withdrew her claims soon after they were initially made. Some of the unsealed documents also contain images of Epstein with various high-profile individuals. Ghislaine Maxwell, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sex trafficking, is set to have her appeal heard in November next year.
