Emmy Awards: ‘Succession’ enters ceremony as top nominee

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards have been rescheduled to January due to last year’s historic Hollywood strikes. The ceremony will take place at the Peacock Theater, following a year of industry upheaval, including actors and writers strikes, shifts towards streaming and changes in the traditional TV calendar. The top nominees for this year’s event include “Succession”, “Ted Lasso”, and “The Last of Us”. HBO continues its decades-long dominance with the three most nominated shows. The ceremony will be broadcast live on Fox, and streamed on Hulu from Tuesday.
