Donald Trump wins Nevada Republican caucus

Former President Donald Trump has won the Nevada Republican caucus for the 2024 primary contest, according to NBC News. The only other candidate on the ballot was Ryan Binkley, a pastor and long-shot presidential hopeful. Trump’s only remaining serious primary challenger, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, was defeated in the Nevada Republican primary. Trump’s victory in the Nevada caucuses was largely expected, and the state will be a closely-watched swing state come November. Despite being the only Republican candidate on the ballot, Haley lost to “none of these candidates,” with 63% of approximately 200,000 voters casting their ballots against her.
