Dogs, cats rescued from hoarder’s home in Baytown

Several dogs and cats were rescued from a hoarder’s home in Baytown, Texas, by the Houston SPCA Animal Cruelty Investigators and Harris County Constable Precinct One deputies. The animals were found in deplorable conditions, with the home filled with debris, feces, and urine. Some pets were kept in filthy kennels with little to no food or water. The animals, suffering from emaciation, heavy flea infestation, open wounds, and dental disease, are now being treated by the Houston SPCA veterinary and animal care staff. A court hearing will be held next week to establish legal custody of the animals.
