Dog survives 60-foot fall off cliff, night alone at Michigan’s Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore
A dog named Dancer was found alive after falling off a cliff at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan. The 3-year-old dog had slipped her leash and fallen 60 feet onto a ledge below. Despite her owners’ failure to find her and their fears she had died, park rangers and local rescue team Superior High Angle Rescue Professionals continued their search. They found Dancer the following morning, cold but otherwise unharmed. Dancer’s Minnesota-based family was reunited with her and she is now recovering.
