Dodge Challenger Driver Outfoxes Trooper In High-Speed Chase
On November 24, 2023, a high-speed chase in Arkansas involving a Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody and a state police officer ended with the officer crashing into a concrete crash barrier. Trooper Blayn Lucas of the Arkansas State Police initiated the chase after pulling over the Dodge Challenger driver due to an unreadable license plate. The driver sped off, reaching speeds of approximately 140 mph along Interstate 30 westbound. The chase ended when Trooper Lucas lost control of his vehicle while attempting to exit the interstate at high speed, resulting in a crash. Lucas was medically evaluated for injuries following the incident and the suspect got away.
