Professional dancer Hayley Erbert Hough, wife of Derek Hough, underwent emergency surgery in Washington, D.C. following a performance in her husband’s live stage show. She was hospitalized after becoming disoriented, and was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma caused by a burst blood vessel. This required an emergency craniectomy. According to Derek Hough’s social media updates, Hayley is in stable condition and beginning her road to recovery. Julianne Hough, co-host of “Dancing with the Stars” and Derek’s sister, also asked for prayers and support for Hayley.
