Deputies shoot man armed with machete at Lancaster Albertsons – NBC Los Angeles
A man armed with a machete was shot and killed by deputies at an Albertsons supermarket in Lancaster, California. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. and the man died after being transported to the hospital. Deputies had tried to use less-lethal methods such as stun guns before resorting to gunfire when the man charged at them. There were several shoppers present during the incident but no other injuries were reported. Two machetes were found at the scene, and authorities are calling for anyone with information to come forward.
