Deja vu storm will blast same parts of US still reeling from a winter storm with another round of extreme weather

A new powerful storm is set to follow the path of a recent significant storm that slammed much of the US, causing power outages, forced evacuations, and even deaths due to severe thunderstorms and wind. The new storm, with its origins in the Pacific Northwest, is expected to affect the same central and eastern US regions, posing a risk of amplified impact for those still recovering. It is likely to bring snowfall in parts of Kansas and Nebraska, cause temperatures to plummet in the north-central US, and pose severe thunderstorm threats in parts of Arkansas, eastern Texas, and northwestern Louisiana. The storm will also result in brutally cold air across the central and northern US, severe thunderstorms in the Southeast and mid-Atlantic, and snowfall in the Northeast.
