Daytona ARCA winner Greg Van Alst “nervous” in return to track
NASCAR racer Greg Van Alst has returned to competition after recovering from a fractured vertebra sustained in a crash last October. Before the accident, he had a successful season, winning the ARCA Menards Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway. He is now preparing to compete in the preseason ARCA test at Daytona and is hopeful for another victory in the ARCA season opener. Van Alst also plans to run a full-time season in ARCA and expand his Greg Van Alst Motorsports organization. He has enlisted fellow Midwest racing standout Isaac Johnson as a teammate.
