Crews actively searching after plane in water
A plane crashed near Moss Beach Distillery in Half Moon Bay around 7:13 p.m. on Sunday, confirmed by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office (SMCSO). Evidence suggests that the plane went into the water, and search efforts are currently underway for the aircraft. The crash occurred a few miles from the Half Moon Bay Airport. Responders include the United States Coast Guard, California Highway Patrol, and fire crews.
