Court filing discloses Fani Willis’ personal relationship with prosecutor

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has acknowledged a personal relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, whom she hired for the Georgia election interference case against former President Donald Trump. However, she argues there are no grounds to dismiss the case or remove her from the prosecution. Wade, who leads the team of lawyers prosecuting the case, asserts that none of the payments he received as part of his role have been shared with Willis. The revelations come in response to allegations of inappropriate relations and financial conflicts of interest made by the defense attorneys. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for February 15.
