Chicago Review Of Books Announces 2023 Award Winners

The Chicago Review of Books has announced its annual award winners in several categories. The 2023 Fiction Award was won by “Bliss Montage” by Ling Ma, and the Nonfiction Award went to Jonathan Eig’s “King: A Life.” The Poetry award was given to Taylor Byas for “I Done Clicked My Heels Three Times,” and Madison Savedra won the Essay/Short Story award with “After the Buses: confront the Migrants at the Center of Texas’ Manufactured Crisis.” Additionally, Javier Ramirez and Kristin Enola Gilbert were recognized with the Adam Morgan Literary Leadership Award for their contributions to independent bookselling and the local literary community.
