Cheney says a Republican House majority in 2025 would present a ‘threat’
Former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney warned that a GOP majority in the House in 2025 would pose a “threat” to the country, due to its allegiance to former President Donald Trump rather than the Constitution. Cheney strongly criticized current House Speaker Mike Johnson and said if Trump is the party’s nominee in 2024, she will leave the GOP. Her new book, “Oath and Honor,” is a strong rebuke of the Republican Party and Trump, whom she calls “the most dangerous man ever to inhabit the Oval Office.”
