Body of missing Calhoun County man found

The body of Mark Riesberg, a missing man from Calhoun County, Iowa, was found deceased in a Chrysler PT Cruiser at an abandoned property. The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office discovered the body on 1710 230th Street, southwest of Jolley, Iowa. There was a single gunshot wound on the body, but no foul play is currently suspected, however, an investigation is ongoing. Riesberg’s remains have been sent to the State Medical Examiner for an autopsy. Prior to his disappearance, Riesberg’s last known contact was on October 28 and he left his phone and wallet at his home.
