Bill Ackman ‘losing it’ over plagiarism allegations against wife, Axel Springer says | Media

Billionaire investor Bill Ackman is reportedly upset over stories published by Business Insider alleging that his wife, academic Neri Oxman, plagiarized sections of her dissertation. Adib Sisani, the communications director for Axel Springer, which owns Insider, denied Ackman’s claims that the stories were motivated by antisemitism. Axel Springer has launched an internal review of the stories about Oxman, causing anger among Insider employees. Ackman had previously played a central role in forcing the resignation of Claudine Gay as Harvard president over a scandal involving alleged plagiarism and campus antisemitism. His campaign against Gay was largely run through social media.
