Biden-Trump rematch would be close, with RFK Jr a threat to Biden: Reuters/Ipsos poll

According to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll, a potential rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election would be closely contested. The poll indicates both candidates have considerable vulnerabilities; Biden faces voter concerns over the economy, border security, and crime, while Trump faces several criminal trials, including allegations of attempting to overturn the 2020 election. The poll showed Trump with a slight lead in a head-to-head matchup. When factoring in anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has launched an independent bid, Trump’s lead increased as Kennedy appears to draw more support from Biden than Trump.
