Despite not being on the New Hampshire ballot, Biden won as a write-in candidate, though he will not receive any delegates as the DNC sanctioned New Hampshire for defying its primary calendar. Biden’s South Carolina win is seen as a test of his support among Black voters. The Republican South Carolina primary, where former President Donald Trump will compete against Nikki Haley, is scheduled for February 24.
