Base 2024 BMW iX2 eDrive20 Joins Electric SUV’s Range In Europe

BMW has introduced a new entry-level version of the electric iX2, dubbed the eDrive20. Sales for the iX2 eDrive20 are to start in March, with starting prices in the UK at £50,710 ($64,280), making it cheaper by £6,735 ($8,537) than the iX2 xDrive30. The new variant features a single electric motor rated at 204 hp, enabling the electric SUV to hit 62 mph in 8.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 106 mph. The eDrive20 uses a 64.8 kWh battery pack, and its reduced power leads to an extended driving range of 297 miles. The electric SUV also supports AC charging at 11 kW and 22 kW and DC charging at up to 130 kW.
