Armed man arrested after breaking into Colorado Supreme Court building

A man identified as Olsen reportedly caused extensive damage to a judicial center in Colorado, leading to its closure but causing no injuries. The incident is believed not to be linked to recent threats made to the Colorado Supreme Court Justices. The incident occurred after a car crash; Olsen allegedly fled the scene with a handgun, broke into the judicial center, set a fire, and fired shots inside the building before surrendering to the police. Investigations are ongoing, and charges are yet to be filed by the Denver District Attorney’s Office. Federal and local law enforcement agencies in Colorado are also investigating threats made towards justices since they disqualified former president Donald Trump from Colorado’s 2024 GOP primary ballot.
